Description
The Huntmaster Akuna freediving fins are an affordable freediving fin that use a thinner, but tougher plastic to give you more flexibility, while being extremely durable! The blades come with a comfortable silicon Huntmaster foot pocket, which give you the option to upgrade to a different blade, such as carbon or innegra if your freediving progresses to the next stage.
The plastic design makes for a light fin that is built to last. This is especially handy in rough terrain, like shallower shore dives. The polypropylene material is a strong affordable type of plastic, ideal for freediving blades.
The foot pockets are made from a thermo plastic rubber, making them comfortable and easy to put on.
Sizing Guide & Examples:
These fins are meant to be worn with socks. The size chart below is recommend for use with 3-3.5mm neoprene freediving socks. All feet are different of course, so please look at the sizes of your regular footwear and use the Euro sizing if possible. Please see below for examples.:
- A male with a Size 11.5 US wide foot in a standard 3-3.5mm sock, would be best to purchase a size XL fin (a size L fin will fit, but will be tight)..
- A female with a Size 10 US narrow foot in a thin 2mm sock, would be best to purchase a size S fin (a size M will fit if she has wide feet or a thicker sock).
