The Huntmaster Inverted Roller Head is inspired by the Woomera, an Australian Aboriginal spear-throwing device made of wood that offers increased leverage and power. It serves as an extension of the human arm, enabling a spear to travel faster and with greater force than using only the arm by itself. The Inverted Roller Head is basically a modern day 'Woomera', improving a speargun shaft speed and force compared to the traditional open head muzzle speargun.
Choosing an invert roller ahead for your speargun is like choosing a compound bows over a traditional bow in archery. The compound roller and an enhancing stringing system of compound bows, have more power, efficiency, accuracy and reduced recoil, same as invert roller heads on speargun, compared to not using them. Additionally, when loading many rubbers, the invert roller design doesn't apply strain on the handle and hand when firing. This design offers great advantages when hunting larger species.
The 'Woomera' Compound Speargun Inverted Roller Head improved design was innovated to solve many issues of previous invert rollers. We wanted an 'all rounder' Invert Roller Head that could hold hundreds of kilos of pressure, to be used for single or double-flopper shafts and to adapt to alternative powerband and rigging setups according to the targeted fish species.
