For increased longevity and strength, all aluminium components from the previous version have been replaced with 316 stainless steel. This includes the 6 mm stainless steel backplate, D-rings, buckles, and quick-release system, delivering superior resistance to corrosion and a sleek, rugged finish.
The XR-Rec Ice features a 16-litre standard single tank donut wing for reliable buoyancy control. The backplate supports a double tank strap configuration, secured with stainless steel buckles and flat head bolt screws, ensuring a firm and stable attachment throughout your dive.
Comfort is a priority in this system. Back and shoulder padding help reduce strain during extended dives, and the harness is fully adjustable, allowing for a customised one-size-fits-all fit. The standard harness strap and quick-release buckle offer both reliability and ease of use.
Included are two detachable side weight pockets, each fitted with D-rings and VELCRO® Brand closures. One pocket is extendable, making it ideal for stowing accessories or tools.
