The Mares XR-Rec Trim Single Backmount Set is engineered for technical divers who prioritise precise trim, comfort, and adjustability. This advanced system offers Extended Range (XR) divers a customisable fit and refined buoyancy control, helping you achieve perfect horizontal trim with ease.
At the core of this setup is a 17-litre bladder made from durable 1000D Cordura, designed with an extended lower section to enhance lift in the lower back area. An ergonomically positioned overpressure valve ensures effortless venting in any diving position, while the inflator features metal buttons for dependable performance and control.
A redesigned 3 mm aluminium backplate with a lightweight ‘skeleton’ design reduces weight and overall volume by 40% compared to previous models, making it ideal for travel. The system also includes a 3 mm aluminium single tank adapter, along with two securely mounted tank straps for a stable setup.
Comfort is a key focus of the XR-Rec Trim. It features padded shoulder straps, lower back support, and a soft back panel. The independent shoulder and waist strap design allows for easy adjustment, while the quick waist strap adjustment feature helps fine-tune your trim in seconds. The stainless steel waist buckle is finished with a durable silver ceramic coating for added longevity.
