The EDX first stage is an over-balanced diaphragm regulator. It is one of Oceanic’s top-of-the-line models with an enormous list of features! The environmental seal ensures it is both protected from contaminants and maintains high performance in cold water. The 2-HP ports and 4-LP ports are strategically placed for effective hose positioning. The forged chromed marine brass composition protects its internal parts from damage and corrosion. An added bonus is that the secondary diaphragm isolates the main spring cavity. This means that if used for ice-diving, the first stage won’t freeze up and free-flow!
The EDX combines the Delta 5 second stage, creating the perfect duo! This regulator has been designed to perform equally in both warm and cold water and at any depth. The Delta series includes adjustment technology, allowing the diver to set their desired airflow. But that isn’t all - the Delta 5 also uses a metal pneumatic valve, which ensures consistently effortless breathing in all conditions! These features are all encased in a compact, durable and classy design.
