Continue your scuba diving education with the PADI® Advanced Open Water Diver. With the AOWD course, you are guaranteed to advance on your level of dive experience that you have already gained and build confidence underwater.
How does it work? You have to complete 5 different Adventure Dives, from which you can choose 3 freely. The 2 required dives are a Deep Dive (up to 30m) and an Underwater Navigation Dive. The other ones, you can choose from PADI’s Specialty Diver Courses. These are Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist, Drift Diving, Night Diving, Underwater Imaging etc., depending on your personal preferences and on the availability of your dive centre. Each of these Adventure Dives may be credited towards the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course.
Get your course manual now and start diving into the different topics. The manual comes with an Advanced Open Water Diver video and a data carrier. Schedule your educational dives with your local PADI dive shop to start progressing on your dive skills.
Course requirements:
- PADI (Jr.) Open Water Diver Cert (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Adequate swimming skills
- Good physical health
