Go PADI PRO and become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) or a PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) with an Instructor Development Course (IDC).
As a PADI Divemaster, you have already experienced the incredible joys of showing divers the fascinating underwater world. As a PADI OWSI, you will go a step further and take people for their very first dive adventures during their Open Water or Scuba Diver cert or during a DSD experience. You get to introduce the beginners to a whole new world and change their lives!
You don’t only get to introduce them to the great unknown, but you also get to set the bar for their behaviour underwater. It is a responsibility and great honour. Show them your enthusiasm for the big blue and help them to keep it safe. You will also be able to teach new and experienced divers, when they embark on their continuing education courses, where they learn more about the aquatic realm and their dive skills in the Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver courses, for example. Teaching Divemaster courses will be your ultimate challenge, to convey all your knowledge and transform experienced divers into the dive guides and leaders of tomorrow.
Demonstrate dive skills to students easily, while never leaving them out of sight. You will learn how to teach the courses both in theory and practice. The course contains sections on PADI standards and procedures, the PADI system, risk management and diver safety, the business of diving, as well as marketing diving and sales counselling.
