If diving is your passion, why not make it into your profession? PADI’s Divemaster Course is the first step into the diving industry. As a Divemaster, you will be able to work as a dive guide and assist Diving Instructors teach their courses. It is your opportunity to help shape the diving industry as a role model.
Among other things, you will learn about the role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster, diver safety and risk management, the business of diving and your career, as well as how to supervise dive activities and assist with student divers.
This eLearning pack (50500-3) includes eight knowledge development sections necessary to start this course, as well as the online assessment of your theoretical exams. Learn at your own pace and take the tests when you’re ready. The water skills exercises and workshops, as well as hands-on practical assessments you have to schedule with a PADI dive centre, in order to complete your course. There, you’ll also acquire your Divemaster Crew-Pak, which includes more reference materials, such as the PADI Instructor Manual and The Encyclopedia of Recreational.
At this stage of your training, it is recommendable to get your personal set of dive equipment including a dive computer, a dive knife, and two surface signalling devices. Check out our offers online or come by and ask in our store.

Course requirements:
- PADI Open Water Diver Cert (or equivalent)
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Cert (or equivalent)
- PADI Rescue Diver Cert (or equivalent)
- Emergency First Response (Primary and Secondary Care)
- Minimum of 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn a certification
- Minimum age: 18 years
- A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
- Good swimming skills
