Some of this world’s dive sites are deeper than 30m, which you might have already reached in your Adventure Diver Course. But you want to see more and dive even deeper, to expand your possibilities underwater, and PADI has the right course for you – the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course (79300).
During this course, you’ll learn how to confidently and safely dive down to a maximum of 40m (130 ft.). This takes special preparation and you will have to manage your gas supply carefully. Good buddy contact is essential and you need to know your personal limits.
The course topics include specialised deep diving equipment, deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control, and managing your gas supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety considerations. Visit a PADI dive shop and schedule your practical training.
Course prerequisites:
- PADI Adventure Diver Cert (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 15 years
This fee covers your manual only. Additional fees apply for practical training, including dives, dive equipment, student slate, certification fee and logbook.
