The Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty (70092) is one of PADI’s most sought after courses. It has become second nature to us to capture all our adventures on camera. Naturally, we want to do the same underwater. Of course it is harder to take pictures underwater than it is on land and you obviously need some special equipment.
This PADI course teaches you how to choose the right underwater camera system for you. It further includes the PADI SEA (Shoot, Examine, Adjust) method for getting great shots quickly and principles for good composition of underwater images. During your dives, you will learn practical techniques to take great photos with your digital camera.
Start your knowledge development with this manual. Call into your local dive centre and ask about their next available excursions to complete this course with a PADI Specialty Instructor. After the course, you will have all the tools to take great pictures on your diving trips to show friends and family.
Course prerequisites:
- PADI (Jr.) Open Water Diver Cert (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 12 years
This fee covers your manual only. Additional fees apply for practical training, including dives, dive equipment, student slate, certification fee and logbook.
