Some scuba diving illnesses are treatable with oxygen. In this course you will learn to recognise these and how to administer the necessary oxygen. Should a fellow diver show signs of a dive injury, e.g. decompression sickness, you will be able to offer them help.
This course’s content covers assembling and disassembling of emergency oxygen equipment, deploying a non-rebreather mask and a demand inhalator valve on a breathing diver and using a pocket mask on a non-breathing diver.
