Night diving can be thrilling and mysterious. At night, there is a completely different atmosphere underwater. You will get to see how plants and animals change behaviour at night. You might even get to watch some nocturnal organisms that you’ll never see during the day.
To safely set out on a nightly diving adventure, it is recommendable to get familiar with this new form of diving first. You’ll need to think about safety equipment and dive lights. The PADI Night Diver Specialty Course (79301) prepares you for what is waiting underneath the surface under the night sky.
In the dark, communication methods have to be adapted, torches have to be chosen and handled correctly. Also navigation needs to be practised in the dark, as your usual orientation methods might not work the same way. This and more, you will learn in the extent of this course.
Make sure to check with your PADI dive centre to see when you can schedule your practical training and embark on your nocturnal diving adventure.
