Description
The Scubapro R195 is a simple and robust second stage. Its construction offers the utmost reliability at a very low price. Based on the heritage of the classic R190, the R-Series has now been re-engineered with more up-to-date features and materials. The R195 also offers reversible hose attachment, making it a perfect choice for tech divers with deco tanks.
This second stage is designed as a classic downstream valve. This design is particularly noted for its exceptional safety and reliability. When used, the valves open in the same direction as the incoming airflow.
The R195 second stage has Scubapro's Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA)-patented system. The VIVA uses the power of a vacuum assist to reduce the work of breathing and increase breathing comfort. It is diver-adjustable on all current Scubapro second stages, including the R-Series. The R195 Regulator weighs 178gr (6.3 oz).
