Available in three different colours, the View Swim Junior Optical Swimming Goggles with corrective lenses are the solution for far-sighted or near-sighted kids between the ages of 6 and 12.
The View Swim Junior goggles combine a set of optical goggles (VC-750J) with the optical goggles parts kit (VPS-741J) to create the perfect pair of optical goggles for your child. The set comes with four nose bridges in different sizes, to make sure the goggles fit well now and while they grow.
The negative diopters range from -2.0 to -7.0 and the positive diopters range from +2.0 to +6.0.
Your child can quickly adjust the goggles while they're on their face for a snug and easy fit. The lenses have had anti-fog treatment, to stop them fogging up from perspiration and heat and the lenses are shatter resistant.
We highly recommend contacting your optometrist before ordering lenses. Your prescription swimming goggles will have factory made standard prescription lenses fitted. Most times these lenses won't match your exact prescription, but instead will be an approximation of your script.
Instead of asking your optometrist for your script, we recommend asking them what lenses to get for your swimming goggles, as usually when you ask for your scripts, you will be given a note, which tells you your sphere, cylinder and axis. There are formulas for these numbers to work out which dioptre you will need, but to avoid disappointment, we recommend being clear with your optometrist about wanting to buy factory lenses for your swimming goggles, which are only available as positive and negative dioptres in 1.0 increments. If your dioptre is a 0.25, 0.5 or 0.75, round up or down.
